Exposing Modern Worship: Music Isn’t the problem
A church music director since 1973, Larry Robbins has served as an Associate Pastor for thirty-four years with two local churches in Augusta, Georgia, and Westminster, Colorado. A separatist by conviction, Pastor Larry now sets out to answer questions his son, Aaron, has as he prepares to enter into the ministry. Unusually blessed by God, Moses’ elder brother Aaron face some of the same issues and problems of worship we are facing today, but may not have had the best answers.
Music is not the problem in our churches today. Now was it the problem in Israel when God rejected their worship. the “new song in our mouths” is merely a small but accurate revelation of what is going on in our hearts. It was not the visual ice protruding above the surface of the North Atlantic that sunk the Titanic. What exists beneath the surface in our Bible-believing churches may ber well be causing them to sink.
