Description
Words: by David West
While shepherds watched their flocks by night, there shone a great light from above. The angels sang as the heavens they rang, with news of the dear Savior’s birth.
The wise men came as they followed the star that led them to where Jesus lay. Rich gifts they brought to the King that they sought, Then bowed and worshipped their King.
Then let us all with one accord sing praises to Christ our great King. For with His blood mankind He hath bought; the lost He came to redeem.
Chorus:
He was born from above, sent from Heaven in love, to die on dark Calvary; So that all might be saved by His life that He gave! For me He died on the tree.
